Through this bootcamp, students with experience in programming and statistics can jumpstart their careers in data science. Students learn to use Python, SQL, Pandas, and APIs for data science as they develop skills for data wrangling and data analysis. In addition, students gain experience with inferential statistics, machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing as they advance through the course and begin to scale up their work. By the end of the course, students will have produced two capstone projects.

Designed for students who have no prior programming experience, this course helps complete beginners gain the necessary experience to join the Data Science Career Track bootcamp. Students learn to code in Python and gain familiarity with data visualization, probability, and algorithms. Students also work with Pandas and matplotlib as they prepare to use those skills in the bootcamp. At the end of the course, students develop a capstone project to put their new skills into practice.

Offered through University of California San Diego Extension, this course prepares advanced programmers for careers in machine learning. Students start with learning about and analyzing data, before moving into machine learning algorithms and deep learning. Students gain hands-on experience developing machine learning platforms and have the option of specializing in advanced deep learning, image processing, or natural language processing with additional study. Career coaching is integrated into the course curriculum, and students produce a machine learning capstone project for their professional portfolio.

Advanced programmers prepare for careers in data engineering through this course. Students learn advanced applications of Python and gain experience with Apache Airflow and Spark, Docker, and Kubernetes. Students start by working with big data sets and cloud computing, then advance to working with containers and APIs before learning about data modeling and warehousing. The curriculum is practice-oriented, and students complete the course with a portfolio of professional work, including two capstone projects.

This course guides students through a practice-based curriculum designed to help them enter careers in data analytics. Students start by learning about structured thinking for data analysis and how businesses solve economic, financial, and statistical problems with data analytic solutions. By gaining skills in SQL, Python, and Tableau, students learn to analyze and visualize data and present their findings and conclusions. Students graduate with a porfolio of work, including two capstone data analytics projects.

For students who need some skills support before starting a full bootcamp or want to gain some hands-on experience before committing to a career, this short course delivers an introduction to the field of data analytics. Students learn about the fields of data analytics and data science as well as the fundamental skills that professionals use and the kinds of problems that data analytics can help solve. Working with Excel, students build skills in Boolean logic, pivot tables, and data visualization. The course concludes with coaching in presentation skills for data analytics.

This beginner-friendly course trains students for the CompTIA Security+ exam and careers in cybersecurity. Students start by learning about the field of cybersecurity, including both blue-team and red-team means of developing secure systems and the kinds of security threats they face. Then, students learn about identity and access management before gaining experience in information security audits. By emphasizing practice as well as exam preparation, the curriculum helps students develop practical skills that they demonstrate in hands-on assessments and a pen test capstone project.

This short course acquaints students with the field and major tools of design. Students learn to distinguish between UX and UI design and research and understand users. They gain experience with the design process from ideation to wireframing to high-fidelity design. Students also work with industry-standard programs like Figma or Sketch. By the end of the course, students will have designed their own end-to-end design project.

Students in this bootcamp gain experience in the full spectrum of UX/UI research and design. They begin by learning to research and understand their users' experiences and how to develop design ideas that address their needs. Then, students move on to the user interface portion of the program, learning about products, branding, style guides, and accessibility as well as the principles of visual design before starting to work with wireframing and prototyping. At the end of the course, students give a professional presentation on their capstone design project and participate in a design externship with a real company.

Designed for students who want to target their training for a career in UX design, this bootcamp helps students gain real-world experience in UX. Students begin by learning about the design process, including researching and understanding users and brainstorming solutions to their problems, before gaining experience with the principles of user-centered design. Then, students practice sketching and wireframing with Adobe XD and Sketch, before prototyping and assessing their designs. Students practice working in design sprints as well as in an externship for a real business client as they build their capstone and portfolio projects.
