Starting with PostgreSQL and PgAdmin and finishing with an introduction to Python, this course covers important features to help students rapidly upskill in SQL. Students learn important SQL commands, including GROUPBY and JOIN, for analyzing data. They also discover how to generate tables and databases and use conditional expressions. Along the way, students quiz their newfound knowledge with tests at regular check-in points.

Students in this multi-modal learning course gain a full introduction to Python. Through lectures, tests, and hands-on assignments and projects, students gain experience working with Python statements, functions, modules, decorators, and generators. Students discover object-oriented programming, web scraping, and data structures, and also gain familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks and building a GUI. By the end of the course, students will have completed three major practical projects, including a capstone project.

This course helps students target their programming skills for work in data science. Students start by using Python in Jupyter Notebooks, working with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib. Students gain practice in data analysis as well as data visualization before discovering machine learning, natural language processing, and deep learning. By the end of the course, students will have completed several coding exercises as well as a capstone project.

This course introduces students to full stack web development. Starting with the front end, students learn to design web pages with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, working with the DOM and jQuery. At the back end, students work with Python and Django, discovering CBVs and the CRUD function. By the end of the course, students will have produced a fully functioning website.
