In this sequenced three-course program, students prepare for a career in UX design. Students learn about the user experience field, including how to research users and develop accurate personas, and they also develop familiarity with the design process, including wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. Students spend an entire course in the sequence putting into practice what they learned in the overview of the field, gaining experience with UI design, responsive design, and accessibility before moving onto the final course, where students can specialize in front end web design, UI for UX designers, or voice user interface design. By the end of the program, students will have developed two major end-to-end projects for their professional portfolio.

Students in this program, consisting of a sequence of three courses, prepare to specialize in a career in UI design. In the first course, students develop familiarity with the field and begin working with the tools of the trade, including Adobe XD or Sketch. Students learn about visual design before beginning targeted practice in the second course, where they work with wireframing, prototyping, and design testing before applying skills to a mobile application environment and learning about animation and branding. In the final course, students specialize in animation, front end web design, or voice user interface design before completing their portfolio of practical projects.

This program, divided into two courses, helps students jumpstart their careers in full stack web development. Students start by focusing on the front end, working with HTML and CSS to produce a website and developing skills in Agile project management. In the second course, students work with JavaScript in the full stack, gaining skills with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js) as well as SQL, APIs, and data security and visualization. Students complete the course with several portfolio projects, including web and mobile applications.

Through this sequence of two courses, students prepare for careers in data analytics. Students begin by learning about the theory and applications of data analytics, gaining skills in using pivot tables and statistics in Excel to understand, analyze, and visualize data. Then, students dig into practicing data analysis, developing proficiency with Python, SQL, and Tableau before learning about big data, machine learning, and ethical issues in data analysis. Students complete the course with a portfolio of professional data analytics work.

In this short course, students learn about the field of UX design and the lifecycle of the design process. Students start by learning to research and understand product users, developing familiarity with best practices for design. Then, students gain experience with wireframing and prototyping and learn how to test their designs. Finally, students develop and deliver a presentation on the design that they have developed in the course.

For students who want to learn more about UI design before committing to a full bootcamp, this short course introduces them to the field and its industry-standard tools. Students learn the principles of visual design as they gain experience working with their choice of the Adobe XD or Sketch design program. In addition, students learn to develop digtal designs prototypes with InVision. By the end of the course, students will have designed their own mobile application.

In this short course, students learn the principles of front end web development. Students develop skills in using HTML and CSS in Bootstrap to design their own webpage. Along the way, they gain familiarity with visual design and website navigation architectures, learning to make responsive layouts and single page scrolling. By the end of the course, students will upload their own digital portfolio website.

Students in this course gain familiarity with the field of data analytics and get practice with some beginner-friendly data analysis. Working with Excel, students learn to clean and organize data sets. Students use pivot tables and statistics as they begin to analyze data for themselves, learning about a range of analytical methods and their applications. By the end of the course, students will have used their new data visualization and presentation skills to share insights about their data analytics project.

With this course, experienced UI designers gain targeted skills in the area of voice user interface design. Working with Alexa, students start by learning about best practices in VUI design and develop an Alexa skill for certification. Students learn about VUI users and conduct usability tests before studying issues in accessibility and security for voice user interfaces. Students finish the course with a total of three complete VUI projects.

This course helps experienced UX designers improve their designs by understanding the principles and best practices of UI design. First, students learn to work with color, imagery, space, and typography in visual design. Then, students take their new skills to the next level by working with design programs and creating mockups and style guides. Students complete the course by presenting on the mobile application that they each have designed.
