In this 2-day class, participants will learn the important fundamentals of Adobe After Effects so they can start creating incredible motion graphics and visual effects right away. Attendees will learn to animate graphics, text, and photos. Students will learn to import designs (created in Photoshop and Illustrator) into After Effects, animate those designs, work with a timeline, keyframes, basic and custom easing (including the graph editor), and export the final animation as a video or animated GIF. Students will also learn to work with null objects, hold keyframes, start working with 3D objects, use video footage to create a movie title sequence, and more.

Students will learn expert techniques for document layout and template building, text capabilities, long document features, and the essentials of InDesign’s XML capabilities. Students will learn how to create a simple ePublication.

In this Adobe Photoshop Lightroom class, participants will learn the important fundamentals of Lightroom Classic and feel prepared to start using it right away. Students will learn to manage, organize, and edit a library of photographs. Students will also learn to sort, compare, flag, reject, and delete photos to find the best photos and weed out bad ones. Attendees learn to adjust color, contrast, and other elements to make images look great using a seamless workflow that can be applied to JPEG or RAW files. Students will convert photos to black and white, sharpen photos, correct for lens distortion, apply local corrections to specific parts of a photo, and much more. These skills include how to design infographics, create vector 3D art, work with typography, use Blending Modes, and navigate the Might Appearance Panel. This two-day introductory course teaches the basic features and functions of Adobe Photoshop. Students will learn how to create, modify, and edit basic images. More advanced topics include using the help menu, adjusting layers, and using image refinement techniques. Students will receive a customized ebook for their ongoing reference.

This intermediate Photoshop course is for those with a basic understanding of Photoshop looking to add intermediate-level skills. Students will learn how to layer images, create vector images, work with Camera Raw, use advanced layering techniques, and edit videos. This 2-day fundamentals course in Adobe Premiere Pro gives an introduction to this video editing tool. Working with professional instructors, students will begin with a survey of the tool’s capabilities and best practices for managing Premiere Pro projects. Each unit builds on that foundation, guiding students through ingesting tapeless media, handling rough cuts and three-point edits, adding transitions, adding video effects, and animating clips. This Tableau Desktop course is designed for students who have no prior knowledge of Tableau but are interested in learning common techniques to create great visualizations and dashboards.
