Photoshop Basic is a two-day class designed for novices and those who have been using the software casually and want a serious knowledge of it. Topics covered include the Photoshop interface, shadows, color palettes, and retouching tools as well as adding text.

This advanced Photoshop class takes students to the next level in their use of the software by teaching them sophisticated cropping techniques and retouching methods. Students also learn tips and tricks to help them optimize their Photoshop workflow.

InDesign Basic is a two-day class for beginners and those seeking to acquire a more systematic knowledge of the software. It covers such topics as layout, character, and paragraph styles, colors and swatches, and inserting graphics and text into a document.

In this advanced InDesign program, students learn how to work with lengthier documents, employ advanced text formatting, and create tables of contents and indices. Special attention is paid to the formulation of templates that may then be used to create uniform styles across a company’s entire catalog.

Illustrator Basic from FutureCompany is a 12-hour (two-day) class in which students learn to create high-quality graphics, illustrations, designs, and logos. Students discover how to use tools such as the Pen tool, Live Color, Live Paint, and Live Trace.

This Illustrator seminar covers advanced cropping methods, retouching, extension of the brush function, and more complex image manipulation techniques. It also teaches methods for developing graphics, logos, and illustrations.

Navigation, modeling, and modification (push/pull.offset, scale) are the primary objectives of this beginner SketchUp class. At its conclusion, students will know how to model everything from furniture to entire buildings, and how to present their models to clients and colleagues.

This advanced SketchUp course focuses on 3D precision modeling, the advanced layer model, Photo Match, and the Sandbox Tool. Further topics include modeling doubly-curved surfaces and advanced work with sections and shadows.

FutureCompany’s Premiere Pro course gives students a handle on the highly versatile software in two days. The class includes instruction in everything from importing sequences and using graphic elements to working with keyframes, music, and effect clips.

This course is a two-day deep dive into the capabilities of After Effects. Students learn to import and animate files from Photoshop and Illustrator, use masks and keyframes, and create effect-studded videos for use in digital marketing.
