Clarusway’s main location is in McLean, Virginia, in a corporate office just off the Capital Beltway Inner Loop and adjacent to Tysons Corners. A second location is situated in Wolfenbüttel, Germany, a town in Lower Saxony in central Germany. The school also maintains an online campus.

Clarusway courses deliver instruction in a range of areas important to careers in IT. Students can take classes in AWS cloud computing and DevOps, data science and data analytics, and web development and cybersecurity. Courses in this track include AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect and DevOps Engineering, Cloud for Tester, Data Migration, DevOps Engineering, and Kubernetes and AWS EKS. The Data Science path teaches students how to extract knowledge and insights from data types and use scientific methods, processes, algorithms, and systems. Additionally, students learn how to build complex quantitative algorithms and synthesize large amounts of information. Students in this track choose among courses in Data Science, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning. With the Software Development path, students can specialize in Front End Development or Back End Development or learn Full Stack Web Development in a curriculum that combines HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and Django. Cybersecurity students learn about system architecture and design for network, system, and web security, advancing to study cryptography, logs, and detection for the management of identities and access.

Class Formats

Clarusway courses are offered in-person and live online, on schedules suitable for students in the US, UK, Germany, and Turkey. Students are expected to spend 16-20 hours on coursework weekly. Class lengths run from eight weeks to nine months, with most falling in the range of six to nine months. The Clarusway curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning, and most courses see students creating lab and capstone projects while developing teamwork skills. Students also have the option of sitting for qualifying certification exams, such as the CompTIA Security+ test for cybersecurity students. Some courses are advertised as being capped at 15 enrolled students.

Admissions Process

To start the application process to a Clarusway course, prospective students first submit a brief online application, including a short answer about their interest in their choice of course, in order to speak with the admissions team. Applicants are not required to pass any technical testing if they are enrolling in a beginner-level class, but all applicants will have their language proficiency skills assessed for their ability to fully participate in their course.

Pricing & Payment Options

Clarusway does not advertise the base cost of tuition for their IT training programs. The school offers multiple ways for students to help fund their education, including up-front payment tuition discounts, installment plans, Meritize student loans, and Income Share Agreements (capped at $25,000). Students also have the option to study for 30 days at no cost with a free trial program. European students have additional opportunities for covering the full cost of tuition.

Students get the opportunity to work with personal and career mentors, develop their interviewing skills, and craft their application materials and professional profiles. Through practical course assessments, students also build their portfolios of work as IT professionals.
