Who Has Recommended Noble Courses?

Noble Desktop has received a wide range of accolades, awards and accreditations that ensure that students can be comfortable knowing that they are receiving a high-quality education. Noble Desktop is licensed by the New York State Department of Education. The NYS DOE ensures that all schools that offer training services in the state of New York are providing students with quality, practical education. They assess many of the same criteria as accrediting agencies, including financial viability, record keeping, curriculum, facilities/safety, etc. To ensure that students are receiving high-quality instruction, all Instructors are required to complete between 30 and 90 hours of training in pedagogical best practices.

Noble Desktop’s courses have been consistently praised by students for their engaged instructors, relevant career-focused curricula and the support services offered to students looking to build their design and coding skills. Students have provided solid testimonials on platforms and review aggregators such as Course Report, SwitchUp and Career Karma. These reviews highlight the strength of Noble’s instructors, curriculum and career support services.

In addition to positive reviews from students and alumni, Noble Desktop’s courses have also received awards from various publications, including Forbes naming Noble one of the best providers of online bootcamps to take in 2024 and highlighting their JavaScript Bootcamp as the best JavaScript training program available. Forbes also named Noble Desktop the best provider of certificates in Full Stack Web Development, Javascript, and Python. These awards are judged on aggregate criteria that include affordability, career support services, quality of instruction, accessibility, credibility and student experience.

They have also received positive coverage and reviews from groups such as Fortune and BestCodingBootcamps, among others. In covering the User Experience Bootcamp, Fortune writes, “The company is a top player in UX/UI, earning the No. 1 spot on the inaugural Fortune Recommends ranking of the best UX/UI bootcamps. It earned the spot partly thanks to its relative affordability and financial and student success options.” Noble has received significant industry recognition for the value and quality of its instruction and they are consistently named among the best commercially available tech bootcamps you can attend.

What are Classes Like at Noble?

Noble Desktop strives to ensure that all its classes are structured with student learning at the forefront. In addition to having the necessary teaching training, all of Noble Desktop’s courses are taught by instructors with industry experience and a proven track record of pedagogical excellence in their field. Noble Desktop’s courses feature career-focused curricula designed by experts who constantly update and reimagine the courses as technological advancements reshape various industries. Noble Desktop offers certificate programs in web development, software engineering, data science, data analytics, digital marketing, social media, video editing, FinTech, web design, UX design, and more. Noble also offers short courses in Microsoft Office, SQL, Python, Adobe applications, Tableau, various marketing platforms, soft skills, and more.

All classes have an option for attending in-person in Midtown Manhattan (34th St & Madison Ave). In-person options at other institutions have become more scarce since 2020, but Noble Desktop has aimed to keep its in-person offering available to students who wish to attend in-person. On top of this, all Noble Desktop courses allow students to retake some or all of the course within one year and many courses feature one-on-one mentoring and tutoring sessions with their instructors, adding even more value to the course for students looking to master specific skills.

Noble offers a “Learn the Skills Guarantee,” which guarantees that students who complete the assignments will achieve a high proficiency in the skills advertised in the program’s curriculum. This ensures that students who leave their classes can feel comfortable in their training and it affirms Noble’s commitment to ensuring that students feel like they have gotten their money’s worth out of their training.

These programs are broken into modules, giving students the flexibility to learn a specific skill, try a course before committing to the whole program, or complete the program over time. This module system also lets students utilize the free retake within one year option to only take some of the lessons offered in the course before returning to take the rest at a more convenient date.

In addition to open enrollment courses, Noble Desktop also offers corporate training services to clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to government institutions and small local start-ups. This training is available in person or online and is taught by the same skilled instructors who teach the open enrollment classes.

Noble also has an affiliate bootcamp, NextGen Bootcamp, that offers coding and design bootcamps for high school students. These are mostly rigorous summer programs designed to provide students with an edge in programming or assistance with AP exams. These bootcamps are taught by the same instructors as Noble’s regular classes, and they are also licensed by the NYS DoE.

How Much Do Classes with Noble Desktop Cost?

Noble aims to provide students with the most comprehensive and rigorous skills training at substantially lower costs on a per-hour basis. Noble Desktop’s certificate programs cost between 2,999 and 10,995 dollars and cover between 120 hours of coursework and 540 hours of coursework. On average, students will pay between 25 and 35 dollars per hour, with several certificate programs costing as little as 10 dollars per course hour. For example, Noble Desktop’s Software Engineering course provides 540 hours of instruction with pricing options as low as 10,999 dollars, for a rate of only 11 dollars per classroom hour and this is before considering accompanying services and flexible scheduling options. This is significantly lower than the price (and price per hour) of many bootcamps of comparable quality and reputation, such as those offered by General Assembly or FullStack Academy.

What Kind of Financing Options Are Available?

Students looking to finance their training will have several options in order to make it easier for them to receive high-quality tech and design training. Noble Desktop is proud to be able to offer students multiple different options when paying for courses, including a 0% interest monthly payment option that allows students to spread their tuition payments over a year or more. Classes can also be paid for in a “pay-as-you-go” installment plan (also 0% interest) designed to make it easier for students to cover the cost of the course, while ensuring it is paid off in full by the last day.

All certificate programs have flexible financing options, including an installment plan and a 12-month financing (0% interest) option. There are no additional fees for either option and Noble Desktop offers several tuition support through options for veterans support under the GI Bill for most of our certificate programs.

The majority of our programs have full-time (weekdays) and part-time (evening or weekend) options and students who enroll in either the in-person or online classes can switch their modalities freely. Course materials are made available on the classroom portal, including recordings of classroom materials. This ensures that even if students miss a day of class, they will still be able to receive their instructions and get an understanding of the material. The lessons are broken down into modules designed to help students scaffold their training and to make the classes more accessible to students who want to learn a specific skill, try a course before committing to the whole program, or complete the program over time.

What Other Support Services Does Noble Offer?

Students who are forced to miss classes or who are having trouble with their lessons will have ample opportunity to receive additional training and support to ensure that they leave the class confident in their newfound skills. As previously mentioned, Noble Desktop provides all students with the option to retake their entire course within one year of completing the class. This can be used to refine skills, get more hands-on experience and feedback, or to cover lessons missed during the original session.

Noble Desktop also offers one-on-one training and tutoring sessions for students enrolled in select certificate programs who need either individual support addressing a difficult topic or who are looking for more opportunities to get live feedback on their work. This additional support provides students with extra time to work with their instructors and offers students flexibility in how they wish to expand on their training.

All of Noble Desktop’s live courses are recorded and made available to students for 30 days after the conclusion of the lesson, meaning that students can go back and rewatch the session to clarify difficult material, see a live demonstration again or see content that they missed the first time around.

Owing to the free retake options, multiple different course modalities, recorded seminars, and one-on-one training opportunities, Noble Desktop is proud to offer some of the most flexible training options available.
