Microsoft PowerPoint is one of the most commonly used presentation applications in the corporate world. Training your employees in this popular tool will equip them with the skills to communicate more effectively with both co-workers and clients, creating eye-catching, memorable, and professional presentations that can quickly and effectively convey a wide variety of information. No matter what field you work in, PowerPoint skills can make your team stronger. Training a team of any size is easy with Noble Desktop’s corporate PowerPoint training programs, which cater to all levels of experience and come with flexible options to suit any scheduling needs.
PowerPoint is a versatile tool that is useful for communicating information in a variety of business settings. It lets users create many different types of presentations, designing their own from scratch, or utilizing hundreds of pre-existing templates. In addition, this application has a large number of advanced features that can be used to create more complex and unique presentations, for instance, by integrating 3D models or animations.
With PowerPoint, your employees can quickly and easily craft presentations that are polished and professional. This application will allow them to easily convey complex information and to do so in a way that is engaging and memorable. PowerPoint is also flexible and adaptable to a wide variety of situations and is designed for easy collaboration. Whether your employees need to persuade potential investors, or simply share information with the group, PowerPoint is a great option.
There is a long list of benefits associated with presenting information visually, through a PowerPoint presentation. Research shows that a significant percentage of people are visual learners, which means they learn best by seeing information presented in a visual format. A visual makes it easier to process information and avoid any misunderstandings. In addition, visual presentations are more likely to attract and hold the audience's attention and to be remembered afterward.
Research reveals that corporate training can benefit a company in many different ways. There is evidence that employees who receive training are likely to feel more engaged in their work and to be more productive. In an article titled, “8 Reasons Why Employee Training and Development Matter,” Indeed explains, “If staff recognise that you are dedicated to their professional growth, they tend to feel more appreciated and valued. This, in turn, will motivate them to do their best and put in extra effort where needed.” It says, “Ultimately, this makes for a positive and more productive work environment.”
While corporate training does constitute an expense, most companies recognize it as an investment in a stronger workforce and a better future. According to Indeed, “It has been shown that one of the main benefits of employee training and development is better individual and collective performance.” It explains, “When your workers are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills, they become more efficient in their roles, leading to improved productivity and higher-quality overall output.” Not only does training help your employees become more productive, but it’s a great way to get everyone on the same page about how to do things. In addition, it ensures that all employees are up-to-date on the latest technological advances and standards, things that tend to change quickly in the corporate world.
Research also shows that employees who receive corporate training are more likely to stay with their employers. In its 2023 Workplace Learning Report, LinkedIn warns, “People who aren’t learning will leave.” It reports that according to its research, of the top five factors that drive people to look for a new job, three are related to a lack of new learning opportunities. In addition, it explains that there are other important reasons to offer learning opportunities to your employees. It insists, “Helping employees expand their skills isn’t something to avoid out of fear of losing people. It’s a business imperative.” It explains that employee training will help make your business more adaptable and resilient and, thus, more likely to thrive in the future.

With our corporate training programs, you can train your whole team in just one private training session. You don’t have to worry about any of the little details. When you train with us, we take care of the logistics so you can focus on what your team’s brilliant new presentations will do.
Another popular corporate training option is to purchase vouchers for Noble Desktop’s group classes and let your employees enroll individually. With this option, your employees will have the flexibility to choose a class time that works for their schedule. This is a great low-stress solution to all of your team’s training needs. You don’t have to block off an entire workday to train your employees – they can schedule their own classes on weekends, weekdays, or weeknights! It’s also a good way to accommodate varying PowerPoint proficiency levels. You’ll be able to manage your team’s training through a private dashboard but you won’t have to worry about coordinating schedules or each individual training needs. Group classes are live online or in person at our Manhattan offices. Noble Desktop offers a discount with bulk voucher purchases.
When you sign up for corporate PowerPoint training, you’re in control of what your team learns. We have a number of pre-existing PowerPoint courses, or you can work with us to create a program that meets your specific needs. Our standard beginner curriculum--PowerPoint Level I--covers designing and running dynamic presentations and creating reusable templates. This course is designed for beginners, with no existing PowerPoint skills. Some of the specific topics covered include slide layouts, adding text, pictures and graphics, adjusting graphics, layered objects, and shapes and lines. Participants also learn about tables, taking charts from Excel, transitions, and running a presentation.
Intermediate employees--who take PowerPoint Level II--will learn a variety of advanced skills such as customizing themes, creating and adding animations, headers and footers, adding videos, links, hiding slides, and adding tables and charts. Advanced PowerPoint business professionals will learn how to build engaging and consistent presentations as well as how to import multimedia --all while recording their presentations. A more comprehensive training option is the PowerPoint Bootcamp, which is a combination of the Level I and Level II classes.
Ready to level up? Your employees can take the PowerPoint Specialist Certification Program, which is a comprehensive option designed to prepare them for the PowerPoint Certification exam. Participants will receive training that covers beginner through advanced PowerPoint skills. They will receive the official Microsoft PowerPoint Specialist Exam study guide. When they are ready, they will take the exam. Proctoring and a free retake are included in this course.
Another option is PowerPoint Presentation Design, which is focused on helping students improve their design skills so that they can create beautiful, professional-looking presentations. Participants learn key design principles as they relate to PowerPoint, including layout, consistency, spacing, color, and typography. They will also learn how to utilize design principles in order to clearly convey their intended message. This course includes real project work, which helps students master these skills effectively.
Most people find that PowerPoint is relatively easy to understand and use. To learn this application, students will need to have some basic computer knowledge, and will also need a computer that can run this program. While PowerPoint is fairly intuitive, it also has many advanced features and users can definitely benefit from a corporate training session that helps them build a strong foundation and lets them learn how to take advantage of PowerPoint’s many advanced tools, such as the ability to import content from other Microsoft applications, and to incorporate multimedia into their presentations.
One of the biggest benefits of booking a PowerPoint training session through Noble Desktop is that you’ll get live training. An expert instructor will lead the lesson in real-time and your team members will be able to speak directly with that instructor to ask questions or get feedback on their progress. There is a lot of evidence that live instruction is the most effective way to learn something new. Students tend to find that it is a more dynamic and engaging experience. In addition, instructors can personalize learning, adapting their teaching style to cater to individual student needs. Another benefit of live learning is that it fosters a sense of community among participants, and most people find that this enriches the learning experience.
Nobe Desktop also stands out for its curriculum options. We offer a variety of existing courses, which you can choose from, or we can customize a curriculum to meet your needs. We know that PowerPoint is used in industries like finance, technology, healthcare, retail, and more. We’re happy to tailor our courses to your industry’s specific needs. Just ask! We’ll teach all of the day-to-day essentials and then customize it to your industry with real-world projects. To truly make this training perfect for your team, we can train using your templates or slide master. That way, they’ll know exactly how to stay within your branding and produce consistent presentations. In addition, we can train your team for the version of Office that they actually use, including Office 365. If you’ve just transitioned to Office 365, we’re here to help your team get up to speed with their new normal as quickly as possible.
Our training sessions are not just boring lectures. Instead, expert instructors are focused on getting your employees ready to use their PowerPoint skills as soon as they leave the training. Through hands-on projects, your employees will know exactly how to add typography, charts, and videos to their well-designed presentations when they leave our training. We teach through concrete practice--not a lecture. We have instructors from a variety of industries, and you’ll have the best instructor for your industry. Our curriculum is always up to date with the most relevant knowledge. Further, instructors also provide a variety of post-training support materials that help reinforce what your employees have learned. Each person who attends the training will have full access to class files, a workbook, and our video suite after the training. They can reference these materials later for more practice which will help them retain the skills that you invested in the long term.
PowerPoint is used in a wide range of different industries. Businesses of all types rely on it to communicate information to team members and outside interests. It is so versatile that it has become an industry-standard tool in many industries.
PowerPoint helps employees who need to regularly communicate information to co-workers or subordinates. For instance, new hires will need to periodically receive large amounts of information in a professional office setting, so learning PowerPoint can be helpful for human resources professionals.
Anyone leading a project or handling large amounts of data can benefit from learning PowerPoint to quickly highlight essential data that they want to communicate with stakeholders. For example, a meeting may require that presenters condense hundreds of pages of business data into a few slides.
Some businesses have the need to convince potential investors, for instance in the fields of finance and marketing. PowerPoint can be used to effectively create a persuasive and memorable presentation for investors.
Not every use of PowerPoint involves live presentations. This application allows users to record presentations for later use, and some people use it to collect information for audiences with whom they will never directly interact. For example, they might use it to create a presentation for an asynchronous meeting or seminar.
Noble Desktop also offers corporate training for other Office applications including Excel, Word, and Project. Learning how to use Microsoft Office can be broadly beneficial since this suite of programs is widely used in the corporate world. Office is estimated to have millions of users worldwide, including many Fortune 500 companies. All Office programs integrate easily, meaning that PowerPoint users can easily add elements from programs like Excel or Word to their PowerPoint presentations if they know how to use those other programs. For instance, a user could embed a functioning Excel worksheet in a PowerPoint slide so that they can explain a financial concept to the audience.
Most people who create PowerPoint presentations make those presentations in person, so public speaking skills are often integral to using this program. Effective public speakers know how to engage the audience and how to present information in a way that is persuasive and easy to understand and remember. While some people are naturally better public speakers than others, even people who are shy about public speaking can improve their skills. Noble Desktop offers an Intro to Public Speaking course that can help your employees become master communicators. This course covers a variety of practical techniques for more effective communication.
Most PowerPoint presentations include visual elements such as images or even moving features like animations, so it can be helpful for users to learn some of the basics of design. By understanding how the various elements in a design work, they can create more powerful and effective presentations. Noble Desktop offers a variety of corporate graphic design training options, including programs focused on commonly used design applications--such as Photoshop--and programs that are focused more broadly on design as a whole, like graphic design training.
If you’re interested in training your employees in PowerPoint, Noble Desktop offers a wide range of different options and you’re sure to find something that fits your needs.
