Introduction to Navisworks (Self-Paced)

The Introduction to Navisworks course explores how to integrate Revit, 3D AutoCAD, and other compatible software into a 3D model for clash detection between various systems, including architectural, structural, MEP, and fire-suppression systems. The course teaches how to apply workflow strategies for integrating multiple BIM models into clash detection analysis, create 4D construction models and timeline animations, and generate reports to resolve time-based clashes.

• Integrate Revit & AutoCAD for Clash Detection: Learn how to integrate Revit, 3D AutoCAD, and compatible programs into a single 3D model in Navisworks. This model will be used to detect clashes between architectural, structural, MEP, and fire-suppression systems.
• Apply Strategies for Clash Detection Analysis: Develop efficient workflow strategies for integrating various BIM models into clash detection analysis models. This will help streamline the process of identifying and resolving conflicts in the design phase.
• Create 4D Construction Models & Animations: Learn to create timeline animations that represent construction scheduling and sequencing in 4D. Use these animations to visualize the construction process.
• Produce Time-Based Reports to Minimize Change Orders: Gain experience in producing and resolving time-based clash detection reports. This will allow you to minimize on-site construction change orders by addressing issues before construction begins.
