You will learn to create details from scratch, reference and clip information from other drawings, and organize these details into deliverable sheet files. The course also emphasizes advanced skills in layer management, model/layout environments, and multi-scale drawing presentations.

Create Detail Drawings for Construction Projects: Learn to create architectural detail drawings that are relevant to your course project. You will practice both creating details from scratch and referencing other drawings to integrate necessary components into your design.
Generate Sheet Files with Integrated Details: Understand how to create deliverable sheet files by referencing detail drawings at different scales into a sheet layout. This process ensures that all project details are included in the final construction document.
Integrate Referenced Files for Documentation: Master the use of referenced files to create details in construction documents. This technique helps you pull critical components from other drawings, maintaining accuracy and consistency across all project documents.

Most of our coding classes utilize freely-available open-source software. For most of our design and motion graphics courses, we will help you get set up with a free trial of Adobe Creative Cloud. If you attend the course in-person, we will have a computer already set up for you with all of the required software for no additional cost.
