This one-day, introductory course takes a low-tech approach to teach students the raw fundamentals of graphic design. The course covers many of the most important design theory elements, including working with positive and negative space, scale and proportion, contrast, patterns and textures, color theory, typography, and how to effectively layout a design.

This 3-hour, introductory desktop publishing course provides students with a hands-on curriculum to learn some of the most popular desktop publishing tools and technologies. The course covers the basics of publishing workflows and introduces students to a range of concepts and tools, including an introduction to resolution, the difference between drawing and pixel-pushing, Photoshop, page layouts, delivering your publication, color usage, file formats, and more. Students will also have access to the video of the course for two weeks in order to refresh and review the material at their own time.

This 6-hour, introductory course about creating forms in Acrobat is designed to provide students with a thorough understanding of how to create their own fillable forms. The course will show students how to detect form fields in a PDF, how to add new form fields from scratch, how to distribute forms, how to password protect forms, how to track, collect, and view aggregated form data, and more. By the end of this course, students will be prepared to create and distribute their own personalized fillable forms and use the data to guide decision making.

This 6-hour, introductory course about creating and editing PDFs is designed to provide students with the knowledge they need to create digital documents. The course is centered around Adobe Acrobat software and will teach students the differences between Acrobat Pro and Adobe Reader, how to use Acrobat to create PDFs, how to edit PDFs, and how to fine tune PDFs in order to ensure they are compatible in both Acrobat Pro and Adobe Reader.

This 2-day, introductory After Effects course will teach students the fundamentals of designing cinematic visual effects and eye-catching motion graphics. The course covers a wide range of tools and topics, including the After Effects workflow, how to create basic animation using effects and presets, how to animate text, working with shape layers, the basics of advanced animation, how to distort objects with the puppet tool, and more. Prereq Note: Some background with Adobe products and/or video and design software is helpful.

This 2-day, introductory InDesign course will teach students the desktop publishing fundamentals in order to create eye-catching works with Adobe’s industry-leading layout and design software. The course covers a wide range of tools and topics, including how to work with type and text formatting, building character and paragraph styles for global edits, using master pages, creating and configuring documents, using supplied text, using basic color and shapes, controlling color with swatches, and more. Students will also have access to the video of the course for two weeks in order to refresh and review the material at their own time.

This 2-day, introductory Illustrator course will teach students the fundamentals for using Adobe’s industry-leading design software to create logos, maps, and other illustrated products. The course covers a wide range of tools and topics, including how to create basic and complex shames, how to use the transformation tools, working with layers, creating and controlling color swatches, using gradients and types, adding outside images, how to trace images, and more.

This 2-day, introductory Lightroom course will teach students the fundamentals for using Adobe’s industry-leading image organization and image manipulation software. The course covers a wide range of tools and topics, including how to import and edit images, mastering digital image development, using lightroom catalogs, preparing images for clients, printing best practices, how to use Lightroom’s Development system, how to retouch and restore images, and more.

This 2-day, beginner-friendly Premiere Pro course will teach students the fundamentals for using Adobe’s industry-leading video editing software. The course covers a wide range of tools and topics, including how to get started with Premiere Pro, how to create a project, import and organize media, the basics of video editing, transition basics, video motion effects, audio editing and sweetening, advanced editing techniques, and more. Students will also have access to the video of the course for two weeks in order to refresh and review the material at their own time.

This 2-day, beginner-friendly Photoshop course will teach students a range of the most common features used by professional photographers and hobbyists alike. The course covers a wide range of tools and topics, including how to master the Photoshop interface, isolating image areas, incorporating color adjustment methods, the basics of retouching and digital painting, using filters and layers, printing essentials, and more. Students will also have access to the video of the course for two weeks in order to refresh and review the material at their own time.
