What Classes Are Available?

Kable Academy has two different bootcamp-style courses. One of these courses covers generative AI topics and the other focuses on cybersecurity.

The Generative AI Development bootcamp is structured in three phases. In the first phase, you’ll acquire foundational web development skills, including CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and Bootstrap, culminating in a personalized web portfolio. The second phase dives into advanced JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, and Express.js, where you'll build a dynamic website. The final phase focuses on integrating generative AI, mastering AI prompting, and working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB to create AI-driven websites.

The Introduction to AI course covers AI prompting with systems like ChatGPT for task automation and decision-making, text-to-image creation using tools like Dall-E, text-to-video production with AI tools like Runway for social media, and text-to-audio conversion through technologies like PlayHt. These skills are designed to enhance your ability to efficiently generate unique visual, video, and audio content.

The school’s Cybersecurity course also has three different phases and prepares students to receive certifications in CompTIA IT Fundamentals, A+, Network, or Security+. The first phase begins with an introduction to information technology support, where students learn how to install and configure hardware, how to install motherboards and CPUs, and how to troubleshoot mobile devices, to name a few topics covered. Kable Academy has both full-time and evening course formats. Its evening courses meet from 6 pm to 9 pm Monday through Thursday and on one Saturday each month. The full-time courses meet from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, excluding any holidays that may fall within the program. Full-time courses meet over 12 weeks, and part-time courses meet over 24 weeks.

Each of its courses has 600 total classroom hours. Of these 600 hours, 400 hours are led by live instructors. To attend these courses, students must have a personal laptop. Kable Academy provides loaner laptops to those who do not have their own. The school requires 90% in-class attendance.
