This four-week course offers an introduction to mixed media art by exploring the unique characteristics of different painting materials. Participants will develop their artistic skills and create works of art using a range of media including acrylics, charcoal, inks, and watercolors. By the end of this course, students will have built up the confidence to experiment with different techniques and materials and create designs that will stand out.

This beginner painting class provides an introduction to painting tools and techniques, such as color mixing, brush handling, and various painting applications. Participants learn composition and perspective and can practice their skills in both oil and acrylic painting styles. This class culminates with the student creating their piece of landscape artwork.

This is an introductory class into the basics of drawing, designed to teach students the fundamentals of drawing such as composition, shape, and line. Participants will learn how to render objects from line to tone as they practice being creative and applying the techniques they are taught. At the end of the course, participants will have a greater understanding of the fundamentals of drawing and will have developed the skills to continue drawing and exploring their creativity.

Learn the basics of bartending in this three-hour course. Participants will gain an understanding of terminology, spirits, cocktails, and garnishes as well as bar setups, glassware, mixology techniques, flavor profiles, and more. Upon completion, students will have the knowledge necessary to create professional drinks for their own personal events.

This introductory course is designed to teach the basics of crocheting. Perfect for beginners, participants learn the stitches, techniques, and terminology associated with crochet, and can create wonderful items. From granny squares and hats to blankets and scarves, anyone with an interest in crochet can get a great start in this course.

Participants will learn the basics of crochet such as how to read a pattern, construct the basic stitches, and shape a fabric. This introductory course will provide the foundation necessary to pursue more complex crochet projects.

In this introductory course, students will learn the basics of knitting including how to cast on, bind off, knit, purl, and increase and decrease stitches. In this class, students will gain the knowledge and skills to create unique and beautiful works of knitting art.

This course offers a beginner's introduction to the Italian language and is taught in Chicago. During the class participants will acquire the basic Italian language skills to understand and communicate in everyday situations. They will learn basic conversation skills and grammar, learn basic words and expressions, as well as speaking activities.

Participants will build vocabulary, understand basic grammar concepts, and learn to form simple sentences in Italian. With the guidance of an experienced instructor, participants will strengthen their communication skills and gain confidence to use the language in everyday conversations.
