This two-and-a-half-hour long beginner-to-intermediate level course teaches the basics of collage and mixed media art. Students will learn how to choose and prepare materials, how to create collages, and how to add mixed media elements using interesting visuals in everyday life, such as found materials, photographs, types, textiles, and more. They will also learn how to develop their unique style.

Upcycling Textiles with Synthetic Dyes teaches participants of all levels how to dye textiles with synthetic dyes. Students will learn how to choose and prepare textiles, how to mix and apply dyes using a variety of techniques such as direct application, tie dye, and immersion dyeing, and how to create different color palettes. They will also learn how to upcycle old textiles into new, one-of-a-kind pieces.

Zine Making: Self-Publishing for Creative People is a two-hour long beginner-level course that teaches participants how to create their own zines. Students will learn how to choose and prepare materials, how to design and layout their zines, and how to self-publish their work. They will also learn about the history and culture of zines and how to use zines to express themselves creatively.

In this paper making course, participants will learn how to make paper for a variety of creative projects, such as a collage. They will get familiar with tools such as paper molds, inks, and pulps to create their own unique designs with depth and vibrancy. Through this course, participants will increase their knowledge of papermaking and discover ways in which paper can be transformed into art.

This course helps participants create a silk scarf with a botanical print. In this three-hour course, participants of all levels will learn how to make silk scarves with black walnut, eucalyptus, Japanese maple, oak, and rose leaves that can be collected in Central Park. Students will learn how to choose and prepare silk fabric, how to screen print botanical designs, and how to finish their scarves. They will also learn about the history and culture of silk scarves and how to use scarves to accessorize their wardrobe.

Discover the creative world of Korean papermaking with this paper-making class. Participants will learn the ancient art of Joomchi, which involves the combination of Korean paper and repurposed fabrics, as well as other skills and techniques for creating amazing paper art. All materials for the course are included.

This paper marbling course teaches participants the art of paper marbling and other marbling techniques. Through experiential learning and hands-on guidance, participants will learn how to create marbled surfaces with colored inks and different types of paper. They will also be introduced to a range of interesting creative possibilities for bringing this craft back home.

Learn to make a cardholder from leather with the help of an experienced instructor. Participants will gain practical experience in cutting, stitching, and shaping leather while learning the basics of leather craftsmanship. They will also design and create a finished cardholder to take home.
