In this certificate program, participants will learn the skills needed to get started in the field of motion graphics and video editing. Students will learn how to work with two industry-standard apps: Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro. Students will also be introduced to the principles of motion graphics as well as the best practices to go from concept to completion. Attendees will learn the skills needed to start a career as a motion designer or video editor and walk away with a video demo reel or portfolio to show prospective employers or clients. The program includes a free retake and several step-by-step workbooks.

This course teaches students how AI enhances video production by automating tasks such as color correction, scene detection, and motion tracking. It also covers integrating AI tools into After Effects and Premiere Pro, allowing students to create sophisticated animations and streamline post-production workflows with advanced AI capabilities.

This course covers advanced compositing techniques using Adobe After Effects, focusing on tasks like green screen keying, motion tracking, and color grading. Students will learn to seamlessly blend visual elements to create professional-level composites that enhance storytelling. Through practical exercises, students master the art of visual effects, enabling them to produce polished, cinematic scenes.

This comprehensive summer program provides training in video editing with Premiere Pro and animation with After Effects. Students will get hands-on throughout a series of class projects where they'll learn how to import and organize media, create eye-catching title sequences, color-correct video, add audio, and many other skills.
