Help Wanted at Noble Desktop

Noble Desktop needs help in a few areas:

Managing Editor — we need someone who can manage the production of our books. Duties include hiring writers, transcribers, and testers; testing books yourself; and managing all production. Editorial and computer graphic background required!

Back-End Web Developer — we need a dynamo who can port our site from ColdFusion to Ruby on Rails. We’ll be scaling our site up soon and need a steady captain for the journey. Someone who can help us create a Rails curriculum would be great.

Jack of All Trades — we need someone who can do it all: test workbooks; write exercises; design and create graphics; help market Noble Desktop; and handle social media. We’re resally looking for a sharpie to help out with everything. What you don’t know we’ll teach you.

Testers/Transcribers — we need people who will transcribe instructions from videos created by instructors, in order to create workbooks for future classes. Aside from transcribing, there will also be a lot of workbook testing. This could be part- or full-time.

PHP Instructor — we need a PHP instructor for either day, evening, and weekend classes.

To apply for any of these positions please reply to this email with an introduction and resume. Thanks!

Testimonial of the Fortnight

I think this is a really great course for an advanced beginner like myself. Noble Desktop covered a wide range of tools in a nicely paced tempo. I feel like I advanced my experience with the program a really healthy amount during the course.”
